Steepd is a free public beta. Read this as a description of what to expect rather than as a promise.
The beta
The service can change, break or lose data without notice. Your reader can download every item in your library, so take a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose rather than trusting us to still have it.
What the free plan gives you
100 MB of storage, with each item deleted automatically 60 days after it arrives. Once you are at the limit new deliveries are refused, rather than something older being quietly thrown away.
Using it
One account per person. Do not use Steepd to store unlawful content, or content you have no right to copy. We may suspend an account being used to abuse the service or the mail providers it depends on.
The software
Steepd is licensed under AGPL‑3.0 and the source is published. You are free to run your own copy.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for data that is lost or unavailable. That is the honest position for a beta.
Ending it
You can delete your account from the account page whenever you like, which deletes your library and the files behind it. If we close an account, the same thing happens to its data.
